Oxygen's Dateline series The Smoking Gun is a hunt for clues, with detectives relentlessly pursuing the one piece of evidence that ultimately cracks the case. I worked on the show package's title cards, backplates, transitions, and lower thirds to emphasize the tone of the show.

We weaved a path through closeups of various clues, paving the way for the common thread in each episode's case: the one missing piece that ties everything together, The Smoking Gun.

Utilizing slow zooms, heavy textures, rigid type, and parallax with other background elements, I brought an eerie tone to each element in the package.
